Ever since I can remember music has always been the main staple in my life, holding me together no matter what was going on around me. Growing up I listened to what would be considered old school rock ‘n’ roll, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Ramones and Joan Jett. Those were the sounds like took a hold of me, making me want to pick up my first guitar at age fifteen. Three months after beginning to play I got into my first band and I’ve been part of a band ever since. Now, because of the musical influences that moved me when I was younger my music takes the listener on a walk through the ages; folk, blues, rock, and pop. Sometimes the genres are separate while other times they are combined.

In the year 2002 I decided to venture out on my own creating a solo album consisting of four originals and a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s "Searchin’". To go one step further I auditioned for Pittsburgh’s Pride Fest in which I ended up playing. In the same year the band I was in at the time, Cynic, created an album and went on to produce the second one in 2003. One year later I was performing at California University’s Pride Fest. I am currently involved in the rock band "Unreal" as lead guitarist throwing in some vocals from time to time. My voice has been compared to Janis Joplin’s having that husky, raspy blues sound. Music is my passion and it is what I live for. My goal is to reach inside, touch your soul, and make you think about life.. about tomorrow... about reality.
